Something also to consider is that there are only so many samples per instrument... a larger range would be nice but if not many of the intruments have enough ssmples for it, is it really worth it?

Hello. While having a wider note range would be nice, there is only so much OS can do. I think a higher note range would cause OS to lag, and people already have OS lag on their computers. Plus, we have detune now.
