they have good ears and perfect pitch or something idk

P.S.: Stop suggesting instruments when you can easily replicate them in the sequencer using markers.

Often times they'll listen not to not just the easier heard instruments but also the smaller details

In the beginning it's gonna seem quite difficult, but you will get faster at it over time. Knowing musical patterns like scales and arpeggios will also help |
