If cost is preventing you from using a DAW, there are a few good free ones available, like Ardour, Cakewalk, and Reaper. Personally I prefer Reaper but they all are good

I'm using a Chromebook, and I can't get a Windows or Mac computer.
You can install Linux or Windows to your chromebook if you really want, its not super difficult but not exactly easy either, but it would let you run a DAW and any other software like photo editing and some light games like Half Life 2 and Trackmania

But my Chromebook is managed by MCPS, which means I can't get Linux or Windows.
It doesn't matter if its managed or not, installing another operating system is not like installing an application, it does a whole rewrite and format of the internal drive, which means its pretty much unblockable.
Another option would be to pick up a $100 CAD refurbished desktop off Amazon or Ebay, they are generally pretty good just make sure it has an i5/i7 and an SSD
I wanna make music so people can see my MIDI, and it's easier to do.
The problem is that there are not enough instruments to get me motivated to make music, that's the purpose of this forum, to have more instruments to get me motivated.
