Sounds a bit like a musical version of "Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes," which could be interesting.
Some questions, though:
--Would the mastermind remain the same between games? Would the servant remain the same between games? If no on both, how would one differentiate between a mastermind doing an excellent job and a servant doing an excellent job, or would they only be viewed as one team on the leaderboard?
--Would the mastermind hear the servant placing the individual notes, or only when the servant plays the entire song? (This could make a difference, for instance if the servant places a note and the mastermind wants to say "I think that note's too low--try a note higher" or something.)
--What would stop the servant from nonverbally communicating with the "mastermind" in this case? (I.e. using one of their verbal cues to say "If I click C# twice with SciFi, that means I agree, and if I click C# twice with Flute, that means I disagree, and if I click C# twice with trombone, that means I think this part needs to be longer, and...." Or what if the servant attempts to use morse code, for that matter? Or tap on the table a certain number of times to signal a given response? Etc.)
--Would the servant be able to override or otherwise disobey the mastermind? (I.e. "No, I think this sounds horrible, so I'm going to do it this way regardless")?
--Who would be rating the songs?
--How would one ensure that neither the mastermind nor the servant are secretly cheating?
Also, I don't have a screen sharing device (except for Zoom, but I am not going to use that), so I wouldn't be able to compete anyways, unfortunately. Sorry...
