I think this is a good idea, although it seems difficult to make, but I don't think the site's creator would have a problem with it. I do know of a website though that employs this same idea, http://www.musipedia.org/js_piano.html#x Will allow you to search for melodies, if a melody search feature ever gets added I bet it's going to resemble this.
