I just went back to check it out, and found that it has 'inspired' a sequence that's just my track, note for note. I understand that taking someone else's idea and running with it is kind of an accepted thing here-- well, that's not entirely true. I don't really understand why that's allowed, it makes absolutely zero sense to me... but for some reason, it is. Anyway, seeing as this person has done nothing to make it their own and there's no mention of me, the person who did all the work, is there a way I can get this taken down? And if not... how come?
I guess you could tell the site owner, but I see it in a different way. This could go one of 2 ways. Either this person is really inspired by someone(you) and wants to add on to your work to make it better. Or they are just lazy and don't want to take the time to make their own. I don't think this person meant any harm by 'stealing' your work. I do however think that it would be right of them to mention you in 'their' project. I could be wrong though. I just like to try the easy way before resulting to violence
