I just woke up, and I'm thinking of a solution, so just maybe, just maybe, try this: take a muffled snare and lower its de-tune. Then, pseudo-sustain it, and I would make it a really, really wet sound. Then, I think you could raise the de-tune for that low water sound and then the higher sound as it crashes and then just have the snare de-tune down again. Uh, let me see if I can make a sequence with it
