I'm getting tired of being unable to find serious discussion and information in this place recently. It's discouraged me from using much of the forums at all whereas before I was reading a fair bit of it every week. I never use the chat anymore either as a result, what's the point?
Threads are being used as chat. Pseudoname says "Just a friendly reminder that this is not a chat room. This is a forum. Please do not use the forums like chat. It's extremely unhelpful and creates clutter for people who use the forums as intended, to have meaningful discussions or talk about site issues."
Any ideas on how to enforce this?
People need to understand that there's a limit to the casualness in forum discussion. Some standards of quality and length are expected.
