You could also jyst copy and paste a section with ctrl+c and ctrl+alt+v to paste at the mouse. Doing this with a marker would make it difficult to see how long the sequence time and measures are

True, but i'm thinking more from a game making perspective of a looping track with an intro.

the marker would just be a spot like the other markers are. no changes to the sequence itself, just a place for it to repeat after first play. Since the sequence automatically repeats anyway, i figured it would be neat to choose where it repeats, rather than have it just repeat from the beginning.
