Who is going to fund the development of this?

hopefully donating to the upd teams kofi would do an impact

I'm pretty sure given the average age of the typical OS user, most have no money to donate, so probably they aren't making a lot via donations. Even then, its a pretty unreliable way to make a living, and I would assume that our developers already have much better paying jobs and do OS development for fun.
