I'm not usually one to voice my opinions on a forum as such, but as someone who frequents this site multiple times almost every day, I and a couple others have decided that we needed to say something about the new soundfonts. I, personally, use the electric guitar as my primary instrument in almost all of my sequences. You would notice by accessing my profile that 4/5 of my featured sequences highlights the electric guitar. All of those sequences are ruined. They sound almost laughable now. Despite my badmouthing of the old soundfont in the past for its excessive reverb, this new soundfont sounds almost identical to the old acoustic guitar. There's no distorted/electric feel to it at all, and all-in-all sounds like a low quality sound byte that went through a pitch shifter multiple times to achieve the desired pitch. The C3 note gets a giggle out of me every time because of how it sounds.

TLDR; I want the old electric guitar back. A few others do, too.

P.S. I also prefer the old snare drum. This new one is pretty weak. No punch. The old one was perfect.
