What is *****?
***** is a music genre. It's a type of programmatic music, meant to musically describe the person *****. When you think of *****, you think of a obese 20 year old guy addicted to food. That's the type of person this music is trying to describe.

The Music of *****
The music is often played by trombones and french horns. There can be added percussion, like cuicas or bongo drums. The music is often joyful and comical. This can for example be achieved through the use of chromatically altering the melody, and pasting it on top of the original melody. Most ***** pieces have an "earrape"; a sudden loud burst of sound that "rapes" the ear, so to speak. It is done by copy pasting a collection of notes on top of themselves. Sometimes there may thousands of notes occupying a single place (the "largest" ***** song contains 100,000 notes), so be wary of your ears.

Music Examples
Earrape warnings:

[*] = 5+ notes on top of each other

[**] = 50+ notes on top of each other

[***] = 500+ notes on top of each other

- A typical "jumping" bassline, accompanied by cheery melodies soon turning into dissonant diminished chords.

- A military march in the style of *****. [** = on the very final chord]

- A bunch of Russian melodies turned into a beautiful ***** composition. [*** = in the last four measures]

- A composition in the style of Jamaican reggae. [*** = in the last three measures]

- A good example of program music, composed by ***** himself. [** = after the microwave sound]

- Some more program music, composed by VoidZee. [** = in random places, but especially at the very end]

- A German ***** piece, composed by Flonk. [** = in the fourth last measure, a single B3 trombone note]

- All the common ***** melodies combined into a dramatic piano piece. [** = in the second last measure]

The Theory Behind *****

The timbre of horned instruments plays an important role in *****'s music. Horned instruments sound much harsher than other instruments when played together, making for a comical sound.

There are two common intervals used to create these comical effects; the minor second and the tritone. A major seventh is also a popular option.

The chords at the bottom almost always alternate between tonic-M3-P5-M3, repeating those four notes no matter what the chord is.

One of the popular ***** melodies consists of three notes from the pentatonic scale (minor or major, depending on the chords below it). It's taken from the song Kung Fu Fighting.

The reason *****'s music is so entertaining is because it keeps surprising you. You don't expect to hear such dissonant intervals or loud noises, even when you're used to *****'s music.

The History of *****

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wFPoRmsiFzc - Mozart's Musical Joke: The first famous "comical" song, that uses surprising dissonance humorously. Skip right to the end for a good example of it.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ug8hCAyBaqg - Saint Saens' The Elephant: This is perhaps the first song that sounds like it's from the ***** genre. It was composed in 1886.

- The first offical ***** piece ever composed.

Thank you for reading, may ***** be with you.
