It doesn't support delay/reverb on most instruments, when you tab out of a sequence with 8-bit notes it plays them past their ending point, and overall limits the functionality of the website. I would suggest using Google Chrome. So far, I have not run into any of these problems on it.

I hope this helps some people out! ?

For MacOS users, Safari also is a bad choice for the same reasons.

Why?

So that means anything built outside Chromium is bad because 8-bit notes play past the end and no support of delay and reverb on most intruments?

Pretty much. Chrome and Firefox are well developed browsers, which is probably why they work better.

Strictly speaking, firefox doesn't quite fully support OS's features. Midi input devices (eg USB pianos) aren't supported on Firefox: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs...MIDIAccess

But if you don't care about midi input, then firefox is fine.

I run Firefox in linux mint and OS always worked fine except for lag issues when I had ridiculous tabs open sometimes.

But back in November I moved and packed up my computer. I moved twice actually (long story). From November until May I used my laptop (windows) and played my sequences fine but never bothered to write anything because it was uncomfortable on the laptop. Of course since then there has been major updates to OS, updates that I am very excited about and I have many new ideas over the past 6 months to try to sequence. The problem is that OS won't load anymore on my linux Firefox. The page loads but the grid times out. I can't play or plot anything.

I guess I'll try to install chrome (blechh) and see if it works, but then I would have that browser just to sequence with, kinda lame.

Anyone else have any issues/advice with this?

I remixed the remix.  Now it's back to normal. ~Mitch Hedberg

generally a bad browser for everything, lol. unless you're in germany like me (a lot of the time, i don't live there though), where downloading chrome from MCS edge takes (i'm literally not joking.) 2 weeks.

i am bad at making MIDIs.
