there should be an option that shows up after saving with two seperate options: Public/Private. This way people who specifically want feedback can get it but those who were just experimenting or made something they arent proud of and want to improve on dont have to shove it out into the world to be judged or whatever

I would love this!!! it would be really great if you can change it later so you can keep a sequence private until it's finished. like for w.i.p.s

This is not going to happen. This has been suggested before, and Jacob has made it clear that collaboration and listening to other people's songs is a core feature of the site.
