I’m hearing many ways to disable chat for new users unless they do a thing. I’m very confused what we should do to disable new accounts from going to chat unless they do a certain thing. What are your thoughts?

There's already a 24 hour requirement. There's not much more that can be done, except having a verified email or something.

The forum should be available to new users the moment they join, because there is the "introductions" topic. I suppose that having an introduction into the forums would be a good way to make it so people cannot post on the forums unless they've introduced themselves.

Just my two cents, though.

Well technically for forums I mean all forms except for introduce yourself forums.

Oh, that's what I meant.

I don't think its necessary to put too many things in place, though, even though there are a lot of scam bots.

I'm sure a majority of the people on this website are smart enough to not click those links.
