Sharps and Flats??

I'm very new to this sequencer and I'm annoyed that the QWERTY keyboard inputs don't incorporate sharps and flats like a normal music DAW might?? Why is it all c major unless you select a new key? Let me play the key myself, thank you. Stop forcing every key to be a new note when you change the key.

Is there a way to toggle this off and just have the full chromatic scale on one keyboard?? Thanks!

There is no way to get the computer keyboard to play out-of-scale, but you can either:
A) Click the sharps and flats with your mouse
B) Hook up a MIDI controller (you can also record these inputs live)
