Does anyone know how to place a note over the end of a measure? Because I try to place it and it just snaps back to where it was...

I don't know exactly what you mean but similar happened to me when trying to move a 1/4 note during 1/2 setting.

Change the grid to 1/8.

Yah I've noticed the grid has to be same as the note I'm moving.
