If you have multiple instruments with their markers layered on top of each other it may be hard to copy/paste the markers of a single instrument or do any other actions.

Step 1: Save your sequence in it's current state

Step 2: Leave your sequence (A) open while you open the newly saved sequence (B) in a different tab.
(this extra tab is there so any changes made there won't affect the actual sequence you're working on)

Step 3: Remove the markers of the instruments you don't want to edit, in sequence (B).

(remove markers of instruments by right clicking this button:      )

Step 4: do whatever you need to with the markers of the remaining instruments (B)

Step 5: paste whatever you did in sequence (B) into sequence (A).

If you want to replace existing markers of an instrument, just select all the markers of that instrument in sequence (A) and remove them, then copy and paste all the markers of that instrument from sequence (B) to sequence (A)

Markers that don't affect any instruments (like sequence volume) unfortunately do have to be individually removed

Wait... you can make markers that effect multiple instruments? I might be the densest creature alive.
