How do I make my Black MIDI songs not lag?

Hello. I am a guy who makes Black MIDI songs. Most of my melodies sound start glitching because of the number of notes even though most of them are all muted. How do I prevent this? EXAMPLE: I saw many Black MIDI sequences where the sound was perfectly fine despite having a ton of notes. Is there a possible way I can achieve this?

Fast graphics mode. Go to more tools > Fast Graphics.

P.S.: Stop suggesting instruments when you can easily replicate them in the sequencer using markers.
