Randomly had the idea while watching smth abt the Famicom Disk System.
What if we add the option to let us draw a 64-bit waveform on a wave table, and have the synth use it.
(if you don't know what wave table is, look it up)
Feel like that would make some effects easier.

If that's in no way possible, what about adding some other waveforms to mess with, like duty-cylce variations of the square wave and stuff like that. (look up square-wave duty cycle if you don't know what that is either)

I doubt this is possible, OS uses the browser's built in synthesis engine to create the sounds

It would be really awesome though to have a wavetable synth built in

There's probably a way they could implement it:
-you draw wave table
-gets converted into some sort of file
-read and added to site
-use

After all, they just added the noise option, there's probably some way they can make stuff like that happen in real time.

let me add smth: they use an engine right? so it has to have the waveforms stored somewhere within the site, and can probably read other waveforms if added correctly (ex. the noise waveforms)

more waveforms would have to be added. i suppose you could manipulate the waveform into the shape you want by stacking overtones on the sequencer

The waveform you make will be added. You make the wave form, and then it gets added to the files the site reads the other waveforms from. It'd probably require a command or smth added to the site, (to be called when a custom waveform need to be loaded) and some extra data (the custom waveform files) to be stored alongside the sequence.
