Make divisions for the monthly contests to make people who are just getting a feel for the website or people who don't have a strong enough computer for large amounts of reverb or markers. Also maybe say in the monthly theme announcements, "remixes are allowed, but strongly discouraged due to lack of creativity" As a person who has done a number of remixes, they take almost more time and effort than an original, because its sometimes challenging to make something in a software sound like a real life song. Can you please give the remixers a shot with contests, because I have talked to many OS users and they have said that besides a theme, no remix has ever won. I don't know if there is a biasy in the judging, however if you say remixes are allowed, then give them a fighting chance. As well as people who are just figuring out the software that compete against Legendary, or SnakyWaters or other pros on the website, its hard for them to even get close, and there is a large number of these people. Maybe a tier system that maybe admin of the website can use, so that they can look at people's sequences, and rank them based off of that. when monthly contest entry period comes around, take the number of people who submitted sequences and also look at their experience level that was determined via their quality and number of sequences to equally divide the entries so that the new users can compete in their own division, and the pros can compete in theirs, and the averages in their own and etc.
