for 1/5 subdivisions, you can take a stretch of music and stretch it by any fraction x/5 to get into a 1/5 grid
for piano pedals, just get better, you can make artificial pedals if you try, you can even make the sounds of pressing the pedals if you so desire
for the additional octave, go into the advanced settings and detune your instrument up an octave
you can mimic a sustain pedal, for example, by simply extending the notes
being in middle school isn't quite a good excuse for being unable to produce creative solutions to obstacles
for the detuned instruments sounding off, my best idea is to add copious amounts of reverb and clones til it sounds just as good as the original :D
