I will be away on a trip next week, so i'm submitting these now before i forget since i unfortunately won't be able to work on them much before the deadline!

my first submission is a Beach/Water theme inspired by the likes of the Super Mario Galaxy & New Super Mario Bros. series. hope you enjoy! it's a full re-rendering of an old song i've been sitting on FOREVER.


my second submission is a song i made for someone very special to me! it has very cutesy vibes, and i tried experimenting with some silly chord shapings, and liked the way it turned out. i wasnt originally making it for this contest, but i realized a lot of the instruments i was using were synthetic and could be pitched quite easily, making it much easier to work off of compared to starting from scratch or using another song ive been working on lately.

In light of the recent rules poll, a console detune more negative than -1200 for the bottom-half editor theme and a console detune of greater than 1200 for the top-half editor theme is allowed.
