This has some examples of background (the percussion is meant to resemble a clock, then it speeds up and slows to normal):  

^ also a sort of heart beat at the end
(the whole thing needs work)

what is vocals? you probably already explained but... what is it?

So basically, you can submit a singing sample, but you have to be able to replace that with a tune.
