This has always annoyed me, it doesn't make sense on why it was never there, unless it can't be added.

It is a good idea because let's say someone is stealing your music, You actually made the sequence on 8/28 and they made the copy on 9/15, You updated it on 9/16 and now it's possible they will use the creation date against you.
