Many users cannot save their sequences, and some sequences like 
just lead to a white screen

Save your sequences as local files for now. You can upload them once it's fixed.

is there any way to recover the saved sequences that are broken? i made a brand new sequence today, it appeared to save, but then i came back to the site and it seems empty

I did, but it doesn't answer my question. I closed the sequence window so I have no option to save the file any more.
