I'm not necessarily complaining, I myself think it's interesting. I just don't understand most of it, also I'm waiting until ash comes out with that "custom instance of OS" to start

I agree that this monthly contest this is kind of a dud and has very little to do with OS. Also surprisingly equally little to do with actually playing Minecraft, since the command just plays note block sound effects to you and doesn't involve the blocks themselves or the wiring and timing limitations normally associated with note block music.

That being said, I want to reinforce my own, and hopefully everyone else's, massive appreciation for the contest committee, especially Kirbyderp for running these contests every month for five and a half years now. I didn't even realize it had been running for so long, that's kind of crazy. Nearly all of the themes have been good and fun and I know that they will be just as great in the future. If you're not interested in participating this month, I encourage you to use this period for self-study. Also, with any criticism of this month, please add a mention of what you would like to see more of in future months.

I'm sure someone will make something crazy anyway, especially if that rumored 'custom instance' comes out. If there's one thing OS users can do, it's overcome limitations.

does fox or someone have a website or something that can easily take a sequence and play it in the way that it would sound in minecraft? or generate a mp3 using the minecraft sounds? idk just thought i'd ask.
