Looking back on this with a better mindset, I do realize I should have been more specific and included the source video from the beginning. That one's on me, so I apologize for that. At the time of posting the initial thread I'd thought the words in the parenthetical would have mentioned enough that I was sequencing from an original piece.. and that in itself was a big oversight on my part.

I do also value honest feedback, just saying that it was too repetitive would have been enough to tell me what I needed to work on. Being told to start over completely felt discouraging.

I will think on the offer to collab, but for now I need to do some self reflection on how poorly I handled this so I can approach these things better in the future.
