If you look at the one sequence I have saved, (Which I'm still working on), you might guess that I'm a dirty trumpet player.

As such, I would greatly appreciate it if there was some way to toggle the display to show notes appropriate for certain instruments.
Which, for me, would be B-flat and E-flat instead of A and D sharp.

It was especially funny that the security question I got when making this account in order to make this suggestion was asking what the note above A#5 was.

I reallllly wanted to say "What the hell is A#?"

They are the same notes, and they change depending on the key whether its A# or Bb, etc. I have a feeling that adding this would be complicated due to how OS names the notes in general (if you look at the drum kits you'll see words instead, each note has a name for the left side piano roll thing and thats in I think its called a table, where it lists the note number between 1 and 72, the note name, and the sample to play for that) but maybe it would be possible. However, since it doesn't affect the sound in any way its probably not something the developers would want to spend time on.

Personally I think the whole letter system is dumb, and having two names for the same note is complicated without reason. Music notation would be a lot easier to learn if it was based on a chromatic scale rather than a major scale, intervals would be easier to see, etc.

I know that they're the same notes, That's why it'd just be a minor quality of life to have the option to change the display depending on ones preference.
It could go into the sequencer settings box, right under the play button.
