you can use a midi keyboard for OS if you press play on an empty sequence then press and hold ALT (in windows) to record your notes

there are now 2 new buttons, one for recording midi input and other for snapping them to grid, you can hook up your midi controller and play when it is on

The electric and grand piano will eventually be replaced with sustained electric and grand piano (old sequences will not be affected). The not-so-secret piano is just to test the sustaining feature.

Individual note volume, use alt+mouse wheel to change the volume of the selected notes! Thanks Liam.
