How to remedy a near complete lack of emotion in a melody

So I made this melody as my first peice and I would describe it as having a faint sad emotion, which is a problem as I intended for the melody to sound more angry (think Kingslayer from bring me the horizon)

So how should I change the melody so it has more of the emotion that I want?

you need to change your chords, your chord prog is sad instead of angry

Sorry I wasn't able to respond earlier, I was out

Ok that makes sense, so what chord progressions would be angry rather than sad? And why?

What songs do you think sound angry?

Funnily enough kingslayer by bring me the horizon (which I ripped the chords from, but apparently not properly as the song doesn't carry the same emotion)

Its common in metal songs to not really have a chord prog,or only have one during the chorus. Most metal is based on having instruments playing low bass melodies with really powerful timbres, which generally sounds a lot more angry or powerful than playing melodies accompanied by a chord prog. Its very rhythmically focused, try experimenting with different 1 or 2 note rhythms/patterns on a bass or a bass with 2013 drum kit. Tempo usually is between 90 and 180bpm, or half time between like 120 and 220bpm, and usually has very large sounding drums, or at least very large sounding snare drums and cymbals. I would recommend using kicks that have a lot of high end but are short, snares that have a long release, and lots of washy cymbals like crashes and open hats and chinas to keep the beat. Your bass tone should also have a lot of high end, what I liketo do is layer bass guitar with slap bass, but turn down the low end and mids on the slap bass, that way youget the actual low notes from the bass guitar but the slap bass lets you hear it above the guitar sound
