i tried to make the Fifth Ballade
Ballade No. 1 in G Major, Op. 2. It's soooooooo calm; just like Winter Wind!
Now that I think about it, Ballade No. 5 would be in C-sharp Minor.
Chopin's four ballades are some of the greatest pieces ever written, which is why I probably shouldn't have discovered them so early. The first four ballades I ever listened to were the Four Ballades, so mine would be the 5th. I refuse to listen to anything else because the Chopin Ballades are my standard. I tried listening to Liszt's 2nd Ballade, but I quit halfway through because it wasn't as good as the Four Ballades.
As you all probably- maybe- hopefully know, Chopin has been, well, dead since 1849, so a Fifth Ballade is off the table... or so we thought. 8 months ago, he decided to bless us with the 20th Waltz, so maybe he could drop the real Ballade No. 5? This is my attempt to recreate it while we're all not-so-patiently waiting, but of course, nobody can make a Chopin Ballade like Freddie himself. (Hey, Freddie, if you can somehow read this from heaven, this is a hint for you to drop a ballade!)

I couldn't publish it on Flat before the district basically shadowbanned me. The Flat version is objectively better.
Don't praise me for this. My name is Chloe, not Frédéric.
